bermuda triangle

betul la cikgu cakap dulu..bila kita semakin banyak belajar tentang sains, kita makin mengakui bahawa ciptaan Allah sangat hebat..

Introduction

I want to tell u all one story. Imagine that I am a navy. I had been almost completely around this planet and seen all kinds of things while out to sea. But I was little nervous after my captain announced we were entering one of the scary place in the world. On that day, I was pulling duty on bridge at the helm. It was around 2 am when my compass stop working. I alerted the officer of the deck who then told me to steer using true north. About 10 minutes the port lookout reported a light off in the distance. The officer of the deck looked at the radar screen but nothing showed. The light did not seem to be moving and was bright white in colour. If it were merchant ship, it would have more than one light and there were no other America warship in this area. Our guts strongly told us that was not a ship. The officer of the deck sent the message to wake the captain and requested he came to the bridge. When the captain came to the bridge he was informed the light, the non working compass and the blank radar screen. The captain looked at the light through the binocular. The officer asked if we should turn toward the light and investigate. But the captain refused and ordered us to stay on course but keep the eyes on the light. About an hour later the compass begin to work and the light disappear. Thank god we were safe in this journey. The journey to escape from the Bermuda Triangle. So today I want to inform and share some information with u all about Bermuda Triangle.

Body

1) Background and area of Bermuda Triangle

1. The word ‘triangle’ got its name from roughly shape of a triangle that said to have sucked aircraft and boats into its dark water.

2. Bermuda Triangle also called Devil’s Triangle. It is called so because of people’s superstitious beliefs. They believe that devil was at play on this ocean gobbling up anything that travels on it.

3. The boundaries of triangles cover the Straits of Florida, Bahamas and the entire Carribean coast of Miami, San Juan, Puerto Rico and mid-Atlantic Island of Bermuda.

4. The mysteries of Bermuda Triangle was first recognized by Christopher Columbus. During his journey in 1492, he reported the weird compass readings in the Bermuda Triangle. Columbus and his crew also seen a mysterious light in the sky.

2) Supernatural explanation about the mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle

1. One explanation blame on the mythical lost city of Atlantis. So how the mysterious disappearances connected to this supernatural story of Atlantis? The legend says that the city of Atlantis heavily depended on some special energy crystals which were extremely powerful. Those crystals radiated huge amount of energy that can cause the navigational instruments of ship and aircrafts not functional or even destroy them completely.

2. From other theory, lost of ship and flight are attribute the events of UFO. Assume the lost of Flight 19 aircrews as alien abductees.

3) Natural explanation about the mysteries of Bermuda Triangle

1. Gulf Stream

i) Gulf Stream is a river within an ocean, and like a river, it can carry floating objects.

ii) It has a surface velocity of up to about 2.5 metres per second.

iii) If small plane making a water landing or boat having engine trouble can carried away from its reported position by current

2. Hurricanes

i) Hurricanes are power storms, which form in tropical waters and have historically cost thousands of lives.

ii) The sinking of Francisco de Bodilla’s Spanish fleet in 1502 was first recorded of a destructive hurricane

iii) This storm cause a number of incident related to the Triangle

3. Methane hydrates

i) The presence of methane hydrates in the form of natural gas on the continental shelf.

ii) Bubbles of the methane can sink a ship by decreasing the density of water.

iii) Seawater no longer capable of providing adequate buoyancy for ships. So, a ship will tend to sink very rapidly and without warning

4) Famous Bermuda Triangle incidents

1. Flight 19 on Dec 5, 1945

i) Flight 19 was the designation of five TBM Avenger torpedo bombers

ii) A squadron of five U.S. Navy TBM Avenger torpedo on a training flight out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

iii) The flight consisted of expert Marine Corps aviators who reported the number of odd visuals effects and suddenly the signals disappear.

iv) TBM Avenger bombers were built to float for long periods, so they should been found the next day considering what were reported as calm seas and clear sky.

v) However, not only they not found, a navy search and rescue that went after them also lost

vi) This incident described to ‘causes or reasons unknown’

2. Star Tiger on Jan 31, 1948

i) Piloted by Captain B.W. McMillan, carried 29 passengers and crew on board, had left hours ealier from Santa Maria, Azores

ii) While approaching Bermuda, McMillan made expected contact with Kidley Field, the next stopover, requesting a radio bearing to calibrate his navigation systems and make sure he remained on course

iii) The last confirmation from McMillan is position of the aircraft and an hour late due to strong headwinds. After that, no further transmission received from the aircraft

iv) Rescue operations were launched but no trace of the aircraft was found.

Conclusion

So, as the conclusion, most of the mysteries in Bermuda Triangle are remain unsolved. Although many theories are proposed about the incidents at Bermuda Triangle, but it just a theories. Maybe have another reason why aircrafts and ships are disappeared in that Triangle. Only God knows the answer of this questions.

satu lagi pix mengenai LOST CITY OF ATLANTIS

this is a simple experiment about the sinking of ship because of methane hydrate..

actually video ni nak tunjuk after habis speech tapi masa mencemburui saya..haha
enjoy it!
